Compromise saves Daniel Boone Parkway from being renamed for hack GOP Rep.
So Daniel Boone Parkway, named after a genuine American hero, was to be renamed for VERY minor GOP Representative Hal Rogers just because he brought in much pork to the district. Rather than hurt Roger's feelings, a former GOP Governor gave up "his" stretch of theparkway...

Are these people adults? When exactly, did the inmates take over the asylum?
