Poll question: Who Will Be The First "Major" Candidate To Drop Out?
By "Major" I mean, *NOT* Sharpton, Braun or Kucinich.

1. Bob Graham
Does he count as "major"?

2. gotta love the creative insults
Graham is a major candidate.

Graham is not dropping out. And yes, I do have special
sources inside the campaign.

Graham is going to have a shockingly good Q3 finance report.

4. Ah, well....

it wasn't meant as an insult...he just wasn't listed in the poll. I like him a lot (he's my #2 behind Clark) but everything I've read suggests that his campaign has struggled. I'm looking forward to Q3 reports that say otherwise.

6. no
He's a major name, but not a major candidate.

His campaign has never gotten off the ground and it's not going to.

3. I'd have to go with Kucinich or Graham
based on the money. But of the ones listed, I'd say Lieberman. Here's what each have raised:

John Kerry (D) $16,028,266

John Edwards (D) $11,936,277

Howard Dean (D) $10,547,980

Dick Gephardt (D) $9,750,802

Joe Lieberman (D) $8,151,575

Lyndon H. Larouche Jr (D) $4,755,882

Bob Graham (D) $3,136,326

Dennis Kucinich (D) $1,718,354

Carol Moseley Braun (D) $217,109

Al Sharpton (D) $184,415

5. Senate Seats a Problem
Meaning Edwards and Graham have big offices to consider. (A Senate seat is awfully nice.) That said, I don't think either one of them should have any pressure applied. They're both smart Democrats, and they'll both find a way to either catch fire or support the nominee gracefully and vigorously. And I haven't ruled out the former.

7. And if Clark enters,
it's going to be that much harder for everybody to find money. The marginal fundraisers will be in trouble.
