This is why they hold on to the past and remeber it fondly. They long for a "simpler time". You know, back when you could buy an apple for a penny, and then use it to hit some "nigger" in the back of the head. After that, you and your girlfriend could perform a secret abortion with a coathanger in her bathroom before drinking a bottle of whiskey and driving drunk and recklessly to the nearest cross-burning. And you could still make it to church on time the next morning.
