I do not worry about terrorism.....
Lets face it if someone has the money, the will and people ready to die for a cause then there is little someone can do to stop them other than using common sense and being prepared to respond to an attack if and when it happens.

1. You sound like Connddoolleezzaa Rice
(I never know which letters are doubled.) She in essence said she needs actual seat and flight numbers to do anything.

2. i think his point is valid, he's not trying to be condi-ish
it's like the old notion that if someone was willing to sacrifice his own life for a world leaders, no one could really stop them from doing it. we can only try out best, and be prepared to respond.

5. All points of view are valid, however look at the cargo ships
Still waiting for funding to inspect cargo coming into the country. Bush has done nothing. There is a perfect example where you could deter if not stop a terrorist act. The airlines? No x-ray of domestic baggage, only international. Why? Cost. Bush will spend everywhere in the world except our own country, and I do think there are things that could make us safer that are not being done.

3. My position is:
Drugs can get here regardless of the "Beefed-up" security so can bombs and terrorists. Homeland Security is a farce.

9. the 'War on Drugs' and the 'War on Terror' are two-of-a-kind...
open-ended, unwinnable, ambiguous farce and a huge smokescreen for the military-industrial complex.

6. I have ABSOLUTELY ZERO concern about terrorism...
and i live in Chicago, which I gotta believe would be one of the juiciest American targets for terrorist with a nuke- a large city in the "heartland" might have more of a psychological impact-
plus, it's a railroad, airline, and communications hub, and there's a major internet node in town as well.
and although it's a city in the middle of the country, it's only the length of Lake michigan away from the longest unprotected international border in the world...and there's no real immigration control on people with private boats.

7. Why should we worry about being attacked here? Bush has sent
over 140,000 young men and women to Iraq. The terrorists don't care where they kill Americans . . . as long as they kill Americans. Yes, we have to worry about our young men and women over there; however, as long as this war monger is in office, he's willing to sacrifice all of them, plus send more.

These fanatics have already killed over 1000 Americans and only the Good Lord knows how many innocent Iraqis. If they get one or two Americans a day, they are succeeding in their warped minds.

And there will be plenty more of them continuously coming into Iraq until there are more "Saudi" terrorists then there are Iraqi people. After all, Saudi Arabia borders Iraq, and that border has not been protected since Saudi Arabia decided they did not want our troops on their soil. Fine Bush said. Bush made that really convenient for his Saudi Friends. After all, they had been having problems of their own since our troops were there during Gulf War I, plus, they were the other Country getting suicide bombers. Now their terrorist attacks have went way down to none and Iraq, who I cannot remember ever having a suicide bomber when Saddam was in power, has up to 70 incidents a day.

So Bush opened the Saudi to Iraq border letting more terrorists into Iraq, and he did this because the Saudis have been the Bush's friends personally and in business. Wasn't Dumya's partner in his first oil company a Bin Laden that mysteriously died in a plane crash after the company failed, BUT, the Saudis helped Dumya out of that mess and with a profit.

8. I disagree.
Attacks on the eve of 2000 were prevented during the Clinton administration.

10. We can be safe as well as free
Unfortunately, with the government left unchecked and in its current state, we are neither.
