when they vote for Kerry?

Did tonight's performance make anyone a believer who wasn't already firmly in Kerry's camp?

I voted for Dennis in the primary, but I'm feeling quite good about the prospect of pulling the lever (and hopefully not touching the screen) for Kerry in November.

2. I, for one...

I think Kerry improved his chances of winning the election tonight, because he did the things that I have not seen him do well in the past:make his points succinctly and clearly explain the nuances in his positions (that Bush likes to paint as flip flops).

Kerry is far better than Bush, and I will be spending the next few weekends as a volunteer with the Move-On get out the vote campaign. Nonetheless, I am still troubled by Kerry's promotion of militaristic might. As a lifelong pacifist, I am deeply troubled by any candidate who has as key planks in his platform that he intends to kill people, or win wars. Because I believe it is crucial to our collective future, I will be voting against Bush and actively working to defeat him (which means working to elect Kerry), but I still cannot personally vote "for" Kerry rather than "against" Bush.
