Poll question: How satisfied are you with the candidates we have?
There is still alot of talk of Wes Clark, Hillary Clinton, and even Al Gore getting into the race. How satisfied are you with the current field we have?
Dean
Edwards
Kerry
Kucinich
Mosley Braun
Sharpton
Lieberman
Gephardt
Graham

6. Should only be Gore, Graham, Dean. Maybe Kerry, Clark, Gephardt.
That's it.

Should have been Gore/Edwards 2000, or Gore/Edwards 2004.

:-(

14. IMO, each of the nine has strengths
and weaknesses. Ditto the possible additions.

I will support the Democratic nominee as vigorously as I am able, no matter who is nominated. Sharpton to Lieberman. Ralph Nader. (Iknow, I know, he's not in the running; I'm just making a point.)

BUT! I want the pretender gone SOOOOOO MUCH that I long for a Supercandidate. Someone so obviously right for the job that they'd be an obvious 65-35 shoo-in. Someone like Al Gore with Bill Clinton's charisma. Maybe there never is or was such a one. Maybe one of the current crop will prove me wrong and blossom. But it's tough to beat an incumbent, even an unelected one.

I'm hopeful, but I'd like to be cocksure. Then I'd be satisfied.

- stil
