Any updates on 2004 Bush Ballots?
I know Alabama went ahead and changed their filing date to include Bush on the ballot. But what about West Virginia, Indiana, Illinois, and Chicago?

West Virginia is especially pivotal to my cause :)

2. 7 states have changed their ballot laws
According to Ballot Access News:
http://www.ballot-access.org/
10 states and DC have laws that might have prevented putting Bush on the ballot if he was nominated after Aug 30 (The Repub convention will nominate him Sep 2). Of the 11, 7 have made changes:
Alabama Yes
Delaware Yes
Idaho Yes
Utah Yes
Viginia Yes
Maryland Yes
DC Yes City council bill passed waving deadline
Indiana Pending (passed Senate)

2 states don't prohibit putting him on the ballot but have an early deadline to tell counties, they may not need a law change but want one:
California No deadline, but Sec State asked legislature to amend date to tell counties
Illinois No deadline, but Sec State asked for law to amend ballot info to counties

In one state, West Virginia, no action has been taken to change the law

3. That'd be nice..
an added 5EV boost with WV automatically? I have the distinct feeling that it's going to be close once again.
