BBV - Riverside CA - test a 'success' - critics not so sure
Riverside County registrar says test counts of paper, electronic ballots successful
(snip)

An hour later, officials reported success, saying the mock election results matched a pre-determined tally. The critics were not so sure about that, saying there was no way for an independent observer to tell.

Jeremiah Akin, a Riverside computer programmer, said, "The observers were not allowed to see the actual input to the system ---- the actual cards. The screen on the computer that was running the programs was too far away to read."

1. I was there!!!!!!
To say this was not a very pleasant experience is putting it mildly. They stonewalled us with their answers to our questions and concerns and their attitudes were as nasty as they could be. If they had nothing to hide, they would have allowed us to actually watch in the same room instead of the back of some woman inserting stacks of cards into different computers in a different room through windows and then her arriving after several minutes later with copies of what supposedly came out of the computer. And that proved what?

Jeremiah had more questions that they claimed to have already answered. He stood his ground and was told to contact other individuals directly. I understood these were follow-up questions from last week that they should have gotten answers to. I about fell over when they claimed to all of us that their computers were so far problem free. We were all stunned by the bold faced lie.

It was truly sad and unnerving, and to see this article about its success is even more outrageous! Mainstream media isn't the only corrupt media around!
