...millions for them to do so.
NPR just did a story about how private contractors are getting millions to feed the troops, provide them water, and, well, they're not doing a very good job at it.
Troops don't have enough food or water (and there was an odd comment -- they troops have to go out on the streets and buy cell phones to call home -- I thought Iraq didn't have a cell phone network???). I heard a comment somewhere else that this is actually when lots of troops are getting shot -- when they're buying water or food in the marketplaces. However, NPR wasn't prepared to report on such an inflamatory allegation.
So, who thinks Bush and Cheney will terminate these contracts with Halliburton because Halliburton is in breach????
