George Bush is never on vacation!
This statement was just made by a host named John on KGO-AM 810 radio. He's filling in for Ray Teliaferro. He sounds like a very strong Kerry supporter, and talks about working in administrations. A President is NEVER on vacation!

Now, I believe that statement, for the most part, about every other President I've know, EXCEPT shrub! I just feel he tells everyone else to check "this" out, and let me know what we should do...then he does whatever entertains him at the time.

1. Technically, a President never is on vacation, but with this
asshole, he has been on vacation for the last four years.
Any official appearances he has done is simply to justify the travel so we get to pay for it.

3. Well he has never stopped running for office.
But he never seems to be at the White House. He lives and runs the country from the plane and Vice office I guess.

2. Here is the VERY important thing to know
It is true that presidents are working even when they are a way from the WH. BUT, when you are away, you are also out of contact with people who need to see you. Guys like Richard Clarke.

Bush doesn't go to Crawford to go on vacation. He goes to Crawford to isolate himself from everyone except his closest advisors.

5. Why is it perfectly all right for the President to tele-commute?
If this is an acceptable way of getting your job done, why not allow all workers to tele-commute? It would save a lot of energy.

Even if only one-third of all US workers could tele-commute, imagine the traffic reduction, the pollution reduction and the gasoline conserved.

What's good for the President should be good enough for the rest of us.

6. The oil companies don't make money if we do the
intelligent and environmentally friendly thing! What's the matter with you anyway? ;)
