Are cable news programs covering the Janklow case?

This story seems right up their alley, something to cover non-stop like all those other stories about people in trouble.

They could cover it from so many different angles.

-- profiles of the man who died. I just heard on NBC that he was a volunteer firefighter. Firefighters are big these days.

-- discuss the strange fact that he suddenly stopped getting speeding tickets when he became governor. They could send a reporter to S.D. to interview state troopers and prosecutors to see if there was any funny stuff going on there

-- discuss what lessons can be learned about safe driving

-- discuss the fact that an elected official joked about his illegal habits in his state of the state address

2. Actually I caught something about it on Faux today.

During the two minute story it wasn't mentioned at all that he is a Repuke.
I wonder if they would have mentioned party affiliation if he had been a Dem.
