Get your god damn 10 commandments away from me.
Keep your religion off federal property, and don't violate federal court orders!!

I am disgusted by every single person that was at the court house protesting the removal of the 10 commandments, it was an obvious violation of church and skate(NOFX song). How is it that people think they can force a moral imperative on this country when they all voted for the god damn Iraqi war, hypocrisy is a common theme among zealots.

So let me get this straight, the majority of americans will support the killings of civilians for oil, but won't let the government remove a religious symbol from a building, claiming that it is an atrocity, claiming that it is blasphemy!!

The real atrocity is the fact that the judge violated a federal court order, and is not gonig to face any penalty. They're all whining about how the state is denying god, but the fact that they are letting this slide proves that they do infact acknowledge god.
"give unto caesar that which is caesar's". These religious zealots don't know there bible very well.

3. Don't worry about the tin (sic) commandments...
The 'Church' has swept the real history of these priestly blabberings under the rug. The problem is their 'rug' has worn thin in a few areas, and some of that 'real history' has been exposed. From what I've seen, it doesn't bode well for Israel either. In any case, when it all comes out, it will be the churches who toss these idiot verses out their STAINED glass windows...

6. Yes, toss them out
There is no need to have moral codes or good conduct.

Amazing.

8. We have laws against killing and theft
for what good it does. And just the other day, I was making images of the waters that are below the Earth. Go figure.

10. Hmm? Who said anything about throwing out moral codes?
From what I've seen of our society, the 10 commandments aren't all that relevant anyhow.

5. The wry irony of that gang of knuckledraggers lying on the ground there
was of course the fact that they had brought in their own 'tablets', on which one of the more prominent admonishions was (clearly visible in TV clips) "Do Not Bow Down to Idols"...

7. If they ever read the Bible they would know that
that Jesus preached separation of religion and state. This is why he was crucified. The pharisees were getting rich by turning the temple into a money making operation and they were in cahoots with the Romans as well. When Jesus threw the moneychangers out of the temple it was the last straw of challenging their authority, so they concocted the story about him claiming to be king of the Jews.

13. I thought the judge was the one doing the crapping
My thoughts on the protesters was that no matter how much their message rubs against others that they are best left alone to protest lest we find ourselves on the same cross.

14. First Amendment
Actually, they are expressing their opinions, yet another right enshrined in the same Constitution.
