Yes, in order to catch terrorists, the sheriff of Lincoln County, MO, proposes that anyone who buys anything with a check or credit card surrender one fingerprint to the authoritys. He says he does'nt think anyone would object. Ha, ha they haven't tried that on my father!

1. So the honest people are under suspicion, but
the thief doesn't get fingerprinted. So if you were a terrorist, I would assume you would steal what you would ordinarily buy because you have nothing to lose anyway. Am I right?

4. Then, use the fingerprint to wirelessly track the Radio Frequency ID tags
in whatever was purchased. Brilliant.

8. Know your rights:
What personal information can't a merchant collect when a consumer pays with a credit card?

Merchants cannot request or require that the consumer write any personal information, including address and telephone number, on any form associated with the credit card transaction when the consumer uses a credit card to pay for goods or services.
In addition, the merchant cannot ask the consumer to provide personal information that the merchant then records.
Merchants cannot use credit card forms with pre-printed spaces for personal information.
