About Impeaching Georgie Boy! Here's my take on the...
situation. I believe it would be better to start with Daffy Dumsfeld, he is secretary of defense, the one who advises the pres in these matters! Call for he's immediate resignation due to gross incompetence! The repubs who are growing dissatisfied with the monetary costs, obvious lack of any real planning for the aftermath of the "liberation" and the growing number of american fatalies would have no viable comeback at this course of action. Just might believe it to be a step in the right direction. Take away the whole ridiculous issue of speaking out against the pres in the time of war! I know what you're thinking but think of it as a house of cards! Pulled in the proper order the house comes tumbling down! Cha-ching Cheney should be addressed shortly thereafter!

1. I think we should haul the Wilson leakers off to a federal pen
The ones who leaked to Novak about Amb. Wilson's wife being in the CIA. I don't think anyone would object. And I suspect the "senior officials" were Wolfowitz and Rice. This would make a good start.

4. Many moons ago...
elsewhere I suggested that Rummy is the weakest link and should be the first one to go. Back then, though, the war went well, and he was king of the hill.

Rice and Rummy are still the two weakest links, but it's a steep uphill battle to get a Republican Congress to admit it.

Eventually, things will probably fall apart completely. We're getting the finger from our "allies," couched in very diplomatic language, as we pass the begging cup around, and I can't imagine the situation improving.

Barring a complete collapse in Iraq or other crisis, however, it will take a long time for things to simply degenerate to where everyone is pissed enough to dump him. These people are vile, but not stupid, and they are all fighting for their political lives-- something they're a lot better at than running things.

Afghanistan is falling apart rapidly, Pakistan is questionable, the Saudi royal family could fall in an Islamic revolution, Iran is rousing the Iraqi Shiites, Korea is completely insane, and China still makes noises about annexing Taiwan.

Oh, and there's Africa. How we doin' in Liberia?

5. As remote a chance as winning the ...
Publisher's Clearinghouse TWICE.

If we get a sufficient Democratic majority to impeach, Whistle-ass will no longer be in office.
