Things you can do to save America, and the world
1. Don't buy Coors beer, and advise other people not to either.

2. Quit smoking. If you are not smoking, don't start, and help other people kick the habit.

3. Continue the assault on the Sinclair Broadcasting Group.

4. Stop buying from Papa John's Pizza and Dominoes Pizza.

5. Buy from local restaurants and small stores instead of huge companies like WalMart.

I can guarantee to all of you, that if we all pitch in and do these things, we can set America back on the right track again.

1. Take it even further...
Don't buy from evil corporations. Buy organic, buy local.

3. Major Change ...
We really need to push for the rescinding the vast powers that corporations have accumulated. The trend continues.

I plan to do more research on the granting of First Amendment Rights to corporations and the changes to corporate law that were passed in the early part of the 20th Century.

That, and a a will towards Democratizing the media, would be the best way to save, or improve on, this Democracy. Corporations are influencing our political process so relentlessly that what was once out of the limelight is not coming to the surface.

No one has the time and money to keep battling these sociopathic, ficitious entities that appear to be more like smoke screens for wealthy parties and individuals today, than a legitimate business tool. The problem has to be dealt with at its source.

5. Agreed.
We must stand up to corporations and make it known that America is not for sale. This will involve a great deal of change in our government, which those already in the system are likely to resist. But, if we don't, as we have seen during this administration, fascism will overtake us.

8. woa thats a really interesting statement: corporations --sociopathic
that is so right. I never made that connection, that corp's are behaving like a sociopathic person. I had heard some of the corp has personhood (legally) idea, didn't really check it out for myself, though it made sense. But to go that extra step and say that the dysfunctional corp has characteristics of personality disorder! Verrrry Interesting!!!!!!

I have to brag on myself just a teeny bit here, but years and years ago I remember ranting to a friend that what we are going to really have to fear in the future is big corporations. Gee, I am so smart.---OK, sorry if I was digging myself too much there...humor me. (or not)

9. also, boycott Curves excersize centers for women, and Wal-Mart
we all know about WalMart and their anti-woman, pro RW actions, but be aware Curves also is active in the Anti-Choice agenda. Anti-choice=Anti-Woman

Dell computers are strong RWingers, to add to the list

Ug. too many to keep track of

10. Buy as much as you can at thrift shops, farmer's markets
and yard sales. Not only will you recycle goods and save money, but you will punch a big hole in the profits of non-union mega stores like Wal-Mart.
