The first of a series of special Link TV Spotlight presentations that shows important political films, documentaries, ads and PSAs that you should see before you vote. Link TV brings you analysis of films that most American TV channels have chosen to not broadcast.
In this program, we analyze and show two films that present radically different views of George W. Bush. The first film, Faith in the White House, "reveals a positive side of President Bush never reported in the news media through interviews with people who have encountered Bush in a faith-based way," says David Balsiger, the documentary's producer. Link TV Spotlight host and political commentator Mark Hertsgaard investigates the truth and connections behind this powerful film. For more information about this program, or to learn how to purchase a DVD of the 70-minute film George W. Bush: Faith in the White House, call (800) 811-0548 or www.grizzlyadams.tv
In the second half of the program, Hertsgaard analyzes There's Something About W, A wry look at the policies of the Bush administration. The film offers a fact-filled mix of policy analysis and humor. We hear from President Bush, in his own words, and leading experts and comedians including Molly Ivins, Paul Krugman, Al Franken, Kevin Phillips, Bill Maher, Arianna Huffington, Daniel Ellsberg, Norman Solomon, Will Durst and more—even Michael Moore. Actor Peter Coyote narrates this tightly-crafted, 40-minute piece. For more information, or to own this film, visit www.somethingaboutw.org.

Films from a Conservative Perspective
American Film Renaissance presents film summaries and links to movies that share president Regan's sentiment in his 1989 farewell address: "The movies celebrated democratic values and implicitly reinforced the idea that America was special...
for those who create the popular culture, well-grounded patriotism is no longer the style. We've got to do a better job of getting across that America is freedom...freedom is special and rare. It's fragile, it needs protection."
