Its intrusive and slows down our internet.

... plus spyware companies will say that they tell people in the fine print about what is being installed, so people only have themselves to blame. I think it would be very tricky to actually enforce

4. Not really, just make it a condition that if it is installed even with....
...a user's consent it can be easily de-installed by the user. I don't mind certain types of cookie programs that don't slow my system down and actually help speed up links, etc. It's the secret things that go in the system that you can't remove that need to be outlawed. They should be required to disclose everything they do, so if I don't want that, I can get rid of it.
