on Fox news stated that NYT story about explosives was a thinly resourced story and that Kerry has made a fatal error by continuing to talk about it. I'm afraid a Minneapolis TV station has confirmed that Kristol is a thinly resourced reporter. But the one that got me this morning is the "grilling" of John Edwards by the Today Show about what he has said in the past. Let's get Cheney on next and challenge him on his past and current statements that out right lies. If you watch cable and network news on the missing explosive issue you get the impression that we don't know for certain when these weapons went missing, when in fact that AP, Reuters, and the Boston Globe had stories with sources that informed us that the weapons were there in early April. Now we have video footage of the weapons with boxes inscribed with Al qa qaa on the side being filmed in April. So what is the deal? * screwed up again say it and hold the man responsible. There were not enough troops to do what we did and now we are suffering the consequences. Of course the real issue is that we should not have done what did at all, but that horse is out of the barn.

are too rattled after four years of this crap - but I have read about the videos and seen photos. Are these videos being shown on the idiot cable channels? I can't bring myself to watch...This morning even C-SPAN is shit.... This Charlie Sykes .....

Of course, we know that their side has nothing but lies to offer.

On a side rant, it annoys the living daylights out of me that "spin" has morphed from characterizing something political from a vantage point of "the glass being half full instead of half empty" to outright lies. Jeff Greenfield on CNN yesterday had the temerity to imply that BOTH sides engage in discarding facts when they don't fit the political strategy, but I don't see it that way and I DO believe I'm capable of sorting out what is and is not reasonably objective, not to mention factual.
