Time for CA, WA and OR and other states to secede
We have to Constitutionally secede. We might even want to consider seceding along with the east coast and rejoin with Canada.

4. I've been saying this for a long time
The U.S. should be broken up into five different countries.

5. I think the entire Northeast should secede
if Bush steals this.
This includes: ME, NH, MA, VT, CT, RI, NY, NH, PA, DE, MD....and DC ought to kick out the government and become EM (East Maryland).

6. I am all for a new New England & Midwest province for Canada
Its looking like we share our values with Canada more than with the southern part of the country.

Of course we whould have to have the US move its capitial to Richmond or something and guard our boarders to keep rednecks from crossing the border to buy cheap drugs.

7. We have the money, we have the people, we have the resources
All the good people from the south and "heartland" can come to our areas and to hell with the rest of these monsters.

8. I would be SO up for that right now
except that we'd have to take just the eastern half of Minnesota, which is the prettier part, anyway.

My God, I can't believe that there are so many people in this country who are either brainwashed by the media and/or fundamentalist churches and/or blinded by greed.

11. Jefferson specifically refused a provision against secession
Therefore, it's theoretically quite possible. The south has been wanting their "freedom" for years - lets give it to them in a divorce.

12. California, Oregon and Washington RULE!
We could get along just fine without the rest of the country. But I don't know what to do with the fundy counties. I live in one. I would suggest that California secure its foothills because the fundies will chop down the redwoods and basically muck up everything.

Of course, we have to get rid of Ah-nold, too.

13. Uh, the eastern half of California can
go fuck itself, because with the exception
of San Francisco down the coast to Los Angeles,
the rest of the state is red :puke:

15. Yes, eliminate the landlocked, tornado ridden Midwest.
And throw in Florida too. You would think after Mother Nature sent 3 effing monster hurricanes in two months, that would have been a sign to vote Kerry....

17. Yes, take northern Ohio, Michigan, northernmost Indiana,
northern Illinois, southeastern Wisconsin and let us join Ontario.

Maybe we could convince all of Wisconsin so as to get a bridge to Minnesota.

Western PA might fit in well with that group, too. Eastern PA should go with the NE/MidAtlantic. Let the south have the center of PA in law as well as in practice.

23. Only if NY gets to be part of Ontario
This was fraud and there's no doubt but there's no denying half this country is certifiable and a good chunk of those love "Jesus" more than they love freedom. I put Jesus in quotes because there's no way Jesus would stand for the crap these inbred assclowns spew.

I live in a blue city in a blue state but what does that matter if a good chunk of the country is nuts and would burn me at the stake if they could? Canada's looking mighty fine about now.

24. I'm with you.
When and how can we start the ball rolling? I think the people of Oregon would go for it. We just don't like outsiders telling us what to do. And yes 36 anti-gay bill passed but only with the help of outsiders. To hell with the south and to hell with all the rednecks.
