I heard on CNN this morning that Osama is planning a really big attack against America.
The Jack guy said...seems Newsweek knows a lot about the goings on with Osama...if people know so much, why can't they stop him? The other news readers said, "yeah."
...which led me to wonder who wrote the Newsweek article and to wonder if they are planting a scare to distract from the mess in Iraq. of course, Osama may really be planning something, too, which leads you to wonder why someone at the highest level of the American govt allowed him to escape when he was in the Tora Bora region.. but I digress...
anyway, I wonder if you people who have all the expertise and the cached info about various times that the alerts in America have increased could do a graph which showed the stated threats according to date alongside the political situation for BushCo.
For instance, I do remember, but don't have actual dates, that when Bush wanted to win a Republican majority at the mid-term elections, we were warned of an impending attack.
Same thing with the build up to an invasion of Iraq.
Anyway, I think this would be interesting, and along with this, another graph which showed actual acts of terrorism and the warnings which accompanied them, or not.
..and the sources of these various threats, or reports of threats. where did they originate within the media and within BushCo?
I can help dig up some info, but I need someone to hold my hand for graphs and posting such things on this site, for instance.
