This is the first draft if anyone wants to read it. There is a lot more I would like to say, but they limit length. I know it's a little harsh, but these people really disgust me.
To the Editor,
For all those who thought it was a good idea to send Bush back to the White House, you will now be responsible for whatever befalls this nation in the next four years. You knew before you voted that this war in Iraq was based on falsehoods. Therefore, any deaths that occur now, whether it is our American soldiers, or Iraqi civilians who get in the way of our bombs, are now your responsibility. The blood of these innocents is on your hands, and that is a stain that will not wash off easily. And since Osama bin Laden was allowed to escape from Tora Bora so our soldiers could be sent to Iraq, any terrorist attacks that are perpetrated against Americans as a result will also be laid at your feet. I know many of you profess to be God-fearing Christians, and you think you have one of your own running the country. If your concern lies more with protecting frozen embryos than our soldiers and Iraqi children, then shame on you. It is your brand of Christianity that brings shame to your religion, and if this is what it means to be a Christian, then you can count me out. I will sleep well knowing I did not vote to put these bullies in office. And when they run out of soldiers to fight the Bush cartel wars, how many of you will rush to join up? How many of you will offer up your sons and daughters to fight? I somehow doubt any of you will be rushing down to the recruiting office. As long as it’s someone else’s loved ones getting killed or maimed, and not your own, then the war is nothing but a story on the evening news to you.
