Representative Darrell Issa
As a Californian, I strongly object that you spent millions of dollars of your personal fortune to pay signature gatherers and force a special recall election when real volunteers couldn't gather enough signatures to make it happen. This was a perversion of the process not anticipated by those who wrote the California constitution.
Now, in the middle of the worst budget crisis ever faced by California, hard pressed county governments must slash remaining vital spending to hold a special election. The final cost is not known, but by all reasonable accounts, it will be over $50 million. That money could pay for crucial child care needs, health
care or affordable housing – but now it will instead be wasted on a special election due to your personal political ambitions.
According to your own personal financial disclosure statements, you have plenty of money left over after paying to put the recall election on the ballot. I urge you to make a special contribution to the Secretary of State's office to reimburse counties for all of the costs you have imposed. I am sure they would be grateful.
Sincerely,
twilight

Perhaps I should have asked him for the money myself, or a new stolen car! Maybe that would have awakened this FRAUD!
