Blackout Scoop: DOE vs. DHS... |
|
After talking with a friend this evening who has close ties with the upper echelons in DHS, he informs me that Spencer Abraham is in a heap of trouble over the blackout and FirstEnergy. According to the rumor (based on my friend's participation in the investigation):
1) FirstEnergy is definitely the source of the blackout 2) It was definitely negligence on their part 3) Spencer Abraham has current business ties with FirstEnergy not previously disclosed.
DHS plans on a slam-dunk on this information on Wednesday during hearings.
Please keep in mind this is currently only hearsay. I do not have any links or concrete evidence to back this up.

...in Bush's coffin perhaps? Considering Spencer Abraham had campaign contributions from Enron and FirstEnergy in his 2000 bid for senate, that is one more link to the Bush Admin where the fixes are managing the henhouse.
