5. On the night of Sept 11, CBC showed a disheveled and confused Bush

Making what I can only describe as a nearly incoherent speech. It was so surreal, that my roomate at the time (who was not a Bush hater) just looked at me and said- "I'm not hearing things, right- you heard that too?"

Footage of that speech should be available somewhere- and I hope that moveon or some other group gets hold of it and uses it in a commercial to respond to the inevitable Bush as Commander-in-Chief" photos and sound bites from the scripted post 9-11 address.

Ambassadors) in the midst of certain US Embassy take -over incidents nearly a quarter century ago during the Shah's downfall in Iran and was unable to help but think that even they acted more "Presidential" than the Shrub or *.
