Is Bush / Rove team worried about Economy, War, or Election ?

With Bush making speeches before a union and talking about creating jobs, etc, one would have to think they are a little concerned. And with casualties mounting each day in Iraq, this must give them pause. They are not taking the election for granted, no matter what the polls say.

They seem to be more worried about the lack of jobs than about the war. However, if the casualties continue, the American people will eventually start to question the competence and/or the wisdom of the leaders of this war. Are they running scared? Not yet. But, they are close.

hard. They don't have a clue what to do
about it other than spin. The stock market
going up means nothing if the ordinary
citizen needs a job.
