I call for a ceasefire on all Dem attack threads EXCEPT Lieberman

The ceasefire should last for one week. This will provide an opportunity for the community to unite behind Bush bashing and Lieberman bashing. All of the other Dem candidates, except for Lieberman, will certainly bask in the sun of Bush and Lieberman attacks! We can once again stand for something! Because the truth is that all of the Dem Candidates, except for Lieberman, have one thing or another about them that is VERY progressive.

And isn't progressive politics what DU is all about?

Sorry, but there's absolutely nothing "progressive" about trashing Joe Lieberman, whose record on domestic issues is as progressive as Bill Clinton's and Al Gore's, and light years better than George Bush's. A real progressive would understand that.

I don't think Lieberman is going to get too many votes here at DU. But he is a democrat and if we are going to call a cease fire, it should also include Joe.
