2. And why?
He doesn't want to, that's why.

And did anybody see the new Arnold commercial they're playing on MSNBC? Hysterical!

Arnold walks on blabbering about the children.

Sits down to 'talk' with the people. What are you going to do about the deficit? Audit the books and stop deficit spending.

Are you going to cut funding from the schools? No, children come first.

That's it. Vote for Ahnold! Rah!

4. Analysts Say Schwarzenegger AWOL Strategy May Fail
http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=584&ncid=584&e=1&u=/nm/20030903/pl_nm/politics_california_schwarzenegger_dc

"The Schwarzenegger campaign appears to be based on the assumption that they should not allow Mr. Schwarzenegger to talk in anything other than very controlled environments," said Tim Hodson, director of the Center for California Studies at California State University, Sacramento.

Hmmm, does that sound like any (pretzel-choking, dog-dropping) one we know? (R)nold might be taking a few cues from Karl Rove on this.
