Does anyone know if Amazon outsources their customer service?

I only ask because when I e-mail them the answer is always posted overnight and it is a stock answer. When I asked them if they outsourced they refused to answer.

Is there a website that lists the companies that are outsourcing our jobs?

About a year ago I e-mailed them a question about my account. I did get a personalized answer (from a customer service rep with an Indian or Pakistani name) but it took nearly 48 hours and didn't really answer my question at all.

more and I am going to encourage them to use this in their advertising.

I will send them an e mail and let them know I will no longer order from them (and I could be considered a power buyer). I will also include the list of items I purchased from them the last few years.

I know it wont do any good but at least it's something.

If I find a good e mail address I'll post it.

I am against outsourcing but if US companies are doing it then they should be forced to pay good wages to their Indian employees. This is why we need ONE BIG UNION....THE IWW!!!

customer service center here in WV. I know a bunch of folks work there.
