People, an important piece of the Richfield Bush-smooch:
(this could be construed as late-breaking news, but I realized it over 12 hours ago.)

The place that Bush was speaking at in Richfield TOWNSHIP (that is important, I'll tell you why in a moment) was a TRAINING FACILITY!!! I doubt that you would find more than three people that work there on a continuing basis that actually live in either Richfield Township or Richfield Village. This disqualifies middle-finger-lady's assertion that all the protesters were from out-of-town. Almost all of the people who are at this facility are from out-of-town, even the people who work there on a regular basis!

Now, why the TOWNSHIP is important.

For years, Richfield existed as two entities, the Village and the Township. Village was surrounded by the Township. Village was considered part of the Township, but the Township was not necessarily considered the Village.

Not long ago, a determined group decided to split from the Village and make the two seperate.

The real kicker: The protesters gathered in the middle of the "heart" of Richfield VILLAGE, the intersection of 303 & 176. Bush went to what could be considered the furthest point away from Richfield while still being considered in Richfield (and Township, at that). If you look at a map of northeastern Ohio, you see a corner of Summit County (where the two Richfields exist) in the northwest. Almost within spitting distance were the borders of Medina and Cuyahoga counties.

Bush, of course, wouldn't know any of this even if his handlers instructed him day and night. Not that it matters.

BTW, I am a resident of Richfield Village. From what I can understand, the main reason why the Township supporters live there is because you can hunt on your own property.
