2. Is this true?...

I called my sister last night. She was depressed and disgusted after seeing a poll on CNN that said 2/3's of Americans could not name any of the Dem candidates for president. I find this hard to believe! Are Americans really this apathetic, or are CNN polls screwed up? She also said the commentors kept saying how hard it was going to be to get Bush out of office. I told her this simply wasn't true--Bush is definitely beatable.

My sister is leaning towards Kerry, I'm for Dean. She believes it's too early to choose a candidate and wants to wait a few months to gather information. She's afraid that Dean might become a turncoat like Bush did--saying one thing, and doing exactly the opposite once he's elected. I disagree, but understand why she's had it with the B.S.

I will not slam anyone's candidate. I may comment if they say untrue things about my candidate of choice, but feel it is pointless to create threads for the specific purpose of putting down someone else's choice for president. The main thing is getting the criminals out of the White House. NONE of our Dem candidates even come close to being as bad as members of the Bush regime--not even Lieberman.

It was a reposting because the original post only had a few hits and it had been posted around midnight the previous night..but my thread only had one poster!

6. I'll add to this...

Another good thing about Dean and Kerry as front-runners is that there's a clear choice between them.

They're not trying to play the same political game, saying all the same things and blurring the distinctions between them. They're trying to make their candidacy distinct and individual. Voters will have actual issues and opinions to make their decisions on.

Of course, the mudslinging needs to stop before it starts - we can't afford anything less than a united assault on the Bushista regime.
