The deadline to register to vote in California is September 22. You can register online here: http://www.ss.ca.gov/elections/elections_vr.htm

The deadline for registering Permanent Absentee Ballot status is September 30. You must already be registered in order to qualify for the Septebmer 30 date. If you're not registered and you want to apply for Permanent Absentee Voter status, you still must register by Septebmer 22.

Vote on October 7.
