The spin has already started Re: UN involvement
Yesterday I heard several pundits weaving the web of, sure the UN will come on board, there are many lucrative, reconstruction contracts waiting there for them. In other words, this administration couldn't fathom anyone's participation in a peace keeping mission without reaping huge financial gains, EVERYTHING is reduced to dollars and cents with these people. It's a foreign concept to them to think there are any organizations that actually operate with altruistic intentions. Sure the US casualty death toll may fall, but the "coalition" casualties would rise, but what does that matter, most of them will be 20 year old "irrelevant" Europeans. Iraq is on the verge of civil war and bushco can't get the oil out, what a mess. What a huge, fucking mess.
