They have apprently decided not to broadcast tonight's debate on Nashville tv.

May they rot in hell.

Tonight, September 4, the first of six debates among the Democratic presidential candidates will take place in New Mexico.

All across America, people will be watching this debate to see our candidates describe their visions for America's future. But Nashville residents won't be able to watch it -- unless you act now.

The debate is being broadcast in many states by PBS, but Nashville Public Television has decided not to air this important event.

Tennessee will play a vital role in the 2004 election. Tennessee voters should have access to all the information about the candidates, including this debate.

You can make a difference. Call Nashville Public Television immediately!

I am livid. We just had cable installed at our county headquarters and the monthly meeting is tonight. We all planned to watch the debate there.

I cannot BELIEVE that what candidates have to say about their qualifications for President is on a lower scale than Tennessee Crossroads and Volunteer Gardener.

2. That sucks

And they are so rude to hang up too, when they are funded by the public and it is supposed to be a station for the public interest. I guess the Nashville conservative right wingnuts don't want to air any Dem debate, for fear of a few Repubs seeing it and perhaps changing their views on the Dem candidates for the better.

Maybe Cspan will have it in a week or two, sometimes they carry old debates.

it must mean they're getting a lot of calls. Call them back. Keep calling. If they won't listen to the message, make them hear the volume.

all the talking head analysis will already be done. Headlines printed. Bleached WonderBra wearing anchors puzzled. Insights proclaimed.

I wanna see it tonight. Dammit.
