Kerry and Lieberman are making themselves look so stupid

BY saying that they backed the war and it needed to be done, that's one thing. Then they criticize Bush for mishandling the occupation, and they just look like complete idiots. Did you actually trust Bush to handle it well?? If so, how blind are you? Or did they just overlook the occupation and just focus on the military aspect? And did they really trust Bush to try and bring other countries along after he had the authority to go to war? It just doesn't add up, and I liked Kerry, but the more I think about it, I can't trust a man like that to be president. If someone (a non Republican to boot) can blindly put faith in Bush, then I don't trust them to handle themselves with other world leaders. Kerry is off my list, unless it comes to him and Lieberman. I'm going with Clark, then Dean, then Kucinich, guys who saw through the bullshit of the Iraq War.

Although I consider myself a Dean supporter, I like Kerry and think he is a legit candidate and I would have no problem if he was the Dem nomination

Lieberman on the other hand - I may have to vote Green

Lieberman should drop out and go look in the mirror - I think he will see a Republican looking back at him

:shrug: I like Kerry and I'm sure he is way more knowlegable than I about Iraq and all other areas of foreign policy. He should ask for the power to invade at will be revoked. It wasn't just about Iraq. It was about any and all countries Bush* decides are a threat. I don't feel Bush* has demonstrated an ability to know what countries are a threat and which ones are not and what good course of action should be taken. Kerry should make it plain that those decisions should be in the hands of Congress and not the Administrations. Until he does that he is lacking IMHO.

both of them are convincing to me when they stand by their vote, though I disagreed with it and wrote my senators about my opposition to the resolution. I'd add Edwards and Gephardt to the people who supported the resolution and haven't apologized for it.

The vote didn't cause the war. After the vote, a whole lot of stuff happened, especially the negotiations at the UN.
