3. It's just the Right-Wing "Spin Machine". They've sent out the topic
and exactly what is to be said about it.

You'll hear the same words from all the R-W sources. Over and over again until everyone "knows" what happened.

Sort of like the Wellstone Memorial fallout where they created a fuss and got their guy elected! It worked and they've just kept improving it ever since.
