Ambassador Wilson Affair: The End of Karl Rove?
I apologize if this is a dupe. I heard about this today on IE America.

This is the hottest and most explosive story behind the scenes in Washington, in terms of how it could affect the Bush administration.

Ambassador Joseph Wilson has been turning up the heat in this situation. He revealed on Friday August 29 in a symposium in Washington, the name of the person in the Bush administration, who had leaked out to the Washington Post that Wilson’s wife is a CIA agent of 26 years. As a consequence of this leak, her entire team of overseas assets were liquidated.

The leaker, it turns out, was none other than the notorious Karl H. Rove, Bush’s so-called White House advisor. Ambassador Wilson identified him as Karl Roverer, with the umlaut over the “o.”

According to reliable sources, as well as our own Al Martin Raw.com investigation, Karl Rove is, in fact, the grandson of Karl Heinz Roverer, the gauleiter of Mecklenburg, who was also a partner and senior engineer of Roverer Sud-Deutche Ingenieurbüro AG. They built Birchenau, the concentration camp in Nazi Germany.

1. I don't know about all that Nazi BS...
Edited on Thu Sep-04-03 05:50 PM by Patriot_Spear
But if Rove is the SOB who gave up Valarie Palme- I wouldn't shed a tear if they hobbeld the prick out in chains onto the White House lawn and double-tapped his useless ass on the evening news.

8. Add it to all of the other Nazi connections of the Bush family...
...and it becomes a real issue.

12. Er, no, it doesn't.
Just because you repeat it, doesn't make it true. (Unless you're a RW talk-radio host, I guess.)

2. Transcript of remarks by Joseph Wilson at Inslee's panel
Edited on Thu Sep-04-03 05:56 PM by Stephanie
A lot of that Al Martin stuff is probably bogus, but the Rove connection to the outing of Wilson's wife comes from Wilson himself. Video at link, these remarks are at about 80% into it. Transcript by me, no link.

http://www.house.gov/inslee/meetings.htm

Q - Hello, Mr. Wilson, assuming what Robert Novak said about your wife was true and the seriousness of that, can we expect the FBI to give a complete, unhindered investigation into that, and find out wherever it leads to?

W - I’m not sure I know how to answer that, because we’re talking hypotheticals. The way the process works is, if this were to have been true, the CIA will do an internal investigation and determine whether or not in their judgment a law has been broken. They then refer it to the Justice Department, who takes another look at it, and then it’s referred to the FBI for further investigation.

Now, despite the fact that John Ashcroft is in charge of the Justice Department, this violation, if it is in fact a violation, is one that is a violation of a professional, and the investigation and the looking into this will be done essentially by professionals.

Now there is a lot of interest in Congress. Henry Waxman has been keenly interested in this and offered all sorts of support. Chuck Schumer, Mr. Gun Control, came out and made a statement to the effect that, if true, this is like putting a gun to the head of an agent. John Dean, of all people, just wrote the other day that the President should have extended Secret Service protection to me and my family as a consequence of this. He didn’t, by the way, I must say. Although I will tell you, I think that they’re scared to death that I might stub my toe.

But I have confidence that at the professional level that whatever they think is doable will be done. My own sense is that, and I’ve told the FBI this, that should they decide to undertake an investigation that I want to talk with them to see how I can best support the investigation, not do anything to impede it. And I think I do have a vote in this, since Congress has basically said we will do anything we can to support you. And the question is whether or not having Chuck Schumer and Hillary and others go forward and talk about this openly, Dick Durbin, impedes or helps the investigation down the road.

But we’ll see. I mean I don’t think we’re going to let this drop. At the end of the day it’s of keen interest to me to see whether or not we can get Karl Rove frog-marched out of the White House in handcuffs. And trust me, when I use that name, I measure my words.

I read the Al Martin Raw article the other day, but I had not seen this. I'll add my name to the list of people who would like to see Karl Rove in handcuffs.

Whether they get him or not, this has to be weighing on Herr Roverer and hindering his efficacy.

4. It'll be interesting to see if BFEE will
lead Karl Rove to the sacrificial pit of PNAC operatives who have lost their usefulness. Maybe BFEE will protect him and cover for him since he knows so much and is so valuable to them. Or, maybe there will be a convenient suicide because no one is that indispensable you know.

6. Well somebody in the Whitehouse broke the law...
Novak said senior whitehouse staff.

Al Martin thinks its Rove and someone

John (de Watergate) thinks its Cheney and someone

Me, I think it explains why Ari quit...which makes me think maybe Rove IS the accomplice.

PLEASE contact your senator and push for criminal investigations.
J. Wilson has been blown off by the Justice Dept. as being "a citizen like anyone else."

7. Whomever 'leaked' that info to Novak
Is guilty of TREASON! It's been a federal law since the late 40's to 'out' national security personnel!

10. This stuff's not true.
This comes from Al Martin at almartinraw.com. It's been posted several times and seems to have grown into an urban legend.

The Nazi stuff is not true. A little Googling will confirm this. I posted to another thread which I can't find, but his grandfather was not a Gauleiter. The engineer for Auschwitz-Birkenau was one Kurt Prüfer of Ludwig Topf & Sons.

If anyone can find evidence substantiating Martin's claims, please post it.

We don't need to import our Nazis. We can breed our own just fine.

14. AL Martin IS the enemy!!!
See how he has a business making up lies for which he is the single source and then he sells them as books?

So Rove is working with Martin, huh?

The strategy is to tie Martin's obvious lies to the truth that Rove committed high crimes in outing Wilson's wife. This way, it all gets dismissed as regular Al Martin nonsense.

I am convinced that Al Martin is a wolf in sheeps clothing who is working AGAINST the entire movement. He has contributed nothing of value, and has wasted alot of time effort and destroyed credibility. He's an obfuscator, a mist man. He creates extraneous smoke and chaos to shroud the legitimate efforts.

11. We need to get off this bullsh*t right now.
It's embarrassing and only feeds those on the Right who see us as a bunch of conspiracy nuts. Believe me, there's enough stuff out there that's actually true to hang Rove & Co---provided the Dems get control of one or both houses of Congress, and the subpoena power that entails.

The real 'Wilson Affair' is the fact that his wife's cover was blown for political reasons. That alone is enough to nail a few of these bastards----if the media report it, that is.

Edited on Thu Sep-04-03 07:08 PM by Must_B_Free
I challenge ANYONE to list ANY reliable source for this assertion of yesterday about "Herr Roverer".

Sounds like he pulled it from the same pile of crap where he got:

"We planted WMDs and lost them" and
"The new US stamp has a Nazi eagle"

Al Martin - where's the beef?
