Did anyone see Santa's elf give the economic forecast on CBS?

Some talking head was giving the optimistically gloomy economic shopping forecast for Christmas along with the explanation that hiring far fewer workers was a sign of vigor in the industry.

They further asserted that things were picking up and to prove it, they interviewed an elf in front of Santa's Village at the Mall!

I swear I am not making this up. The perky little elf said that she thought the job market was looking up "a little." So there you go.
