Gallup LIES on their website (or they are completely ignorant)
Found this posted on their website...

PRINCETON, NJ -- President Bush's job rating has settled down into the high 50s and low 60s as the rally effect that resulted from the Iraq war has faded. Bush's most recent job rating of 59% is slightly above Gallup's historical average approval rating of 56% for all presidents since Harry Truman, but is also below Bush's term average of 68%.

http://www.gallup.com/poll/releases/pr030905.asp

now, i just looked and i cant find ONE SINGLE poll that has bush above 59%. look for yourself...

http://www.pollingreport.com/BushJob.htm

Think i will write them and ask them what polls they are referring to.

will drop when the electorate have someone else to consider.

5. One thing that should scare bush...
polls show that 2/3 of democrats cant name a democrat candidate. i imagine that that is even less for republicans YET bush only beats the front runners by 5-10% at best. I am pretty certain that 90-95% of the population can name the president.

WHen the campaign really gets rolling and people start paying attention, i see the dems closing that gap if not overtaking him.

4. Another thought you might entertain
is the that George Gallup, Jr. (like his father) is a conservative Christian. Whether he's also a Republican like his father, I don't know- but if I had to guess....
