Report: Rally in San Francisco at Pelosi's office

This week's rally was at Nancy Pelosi's office at the SF Federal building.

A coalition of our folks (including representatives of USVIP.org, Dean Democratic Club of Silicon Valley and others) went in and met with her Chief of Staff's assistant. I'm hoping to have a full written report of that meeting up in the next day or so, but to be brief, it was a positive meeting. Heck, it was freezing outside in the wind and none of us could figure out what took so long. Their meeting lasted over an hour. They were assured that the "next meeting" would include Pelosi's Regional Director.

We had about 100 activists, and 5 media outlets turned up! KTVU 2 (Fox), KTSF 26 (Chinese), KDTV 14 (Spanish), KGO 810 (AM Radio) and the Associated Press.

Am glad to hear this. So how can we get Pelosi back to California to talk with us and not just her Regional Director?

Seems to me these leaders need to be talking more with who they represent.
