1. I'll add this to my list of reasons
why I only watch NCAA football. The NFL is a bore. Now a reich wing stump?

19. It definitely seems to be
a blatant rightwing lovefest. Very disappointed and it WILL affect my viewing even though I enjoy watching a game now and then. I wish the corporate media would keep their opinions to themselves, could there possibly be anyone who still doubts they have an agenda.

2. I know what your friends mean!
I turned it off! Rush Lameballs on ESPN lasted about as long as it took me to hit the channel button! Bush prolly gets all moist thinkin' about his old cheerleader daze! I'll bet he dated the Quarterback!

Come, we watch the ratings fall like Bush's poll numbers!

9. Way back, someone from the Basement musta put pressure on the
NFL to schedule the season opener in DC w the skins. GIVING THE SHRUB a chance to say a few 87464758696867716162534 words to the masses. which amounted to a commercial for the pnose miner.

13. I see
I have some more questions did they ever allow this for Clinton? I don't think so or I would of heard the yapping wingers crying about it.

7. I had the sound off - which saved the TV
Still - it was weird without the sound I honestly could not read his expression - happy sad friendly whatever I couldn't get a clue.
And on a trival note - his tie was crooked, the knot was over to the left (horrors).

I just think it is a poor idea to mix politics and sports no matter if you hate bush or not.

14. What about the tradition of Presidents
throwing out the first pitch in baseball? Are you against that too? Who REALLY gives a rat's about this. Turn off the politico you don't like, then tune back into the game and relax. It was a great game last night, unless you are a Jets' fan!

23. You were seeing his best pitch last night!
He makes his pitch everytime he sez or does anything! The Network letting him do it for free isn't being fair to the other people running for president!

I'm guessing it makes Sir Shrubbie feel like Emperor Gluteus Maximums at the Lions vs Christians games in the old arena!

25. Now this is just silly
I don't hear the "speech;" I was in a bar. But it couldn't have lasted longer than 25 seconds. I assume between, "My fellow Americans," something about the first game, and "Are you ready for some football?" he didn't have a lot of time to discuss his tax plan.

Presidents and sports go back to . . .God . . Teddy Roosevelt probably. To throwing out the first pitch at Senators/Orioles games, to calling the winning team's locker room, to sending plays to George Allen, getting involved is one of the perks of the office. Didn't Clinton go to the Final Four when Arkansas won the national title?

I think there are bigger things to get upset about.
