Paul O'Neill was on the Daily Show last night. It was interesting.

5. Daily Show will replay at 7 pm eastern tonight but basically...

O'Neill said he had served with three other presidential administrations so knew something about how govt worked. Normally presidents seek the best available info. from the best minds in the country. They want information and arguments pro and con, then they make their decisions. Bush II did not behave that way. He did not want the best info. He wants only what he wants to hear. O'Neill said he was penalized for telling the truth, not only by Bush but by the media as well. He says the media are part of the same system that eschews truth in favor of .....I'm not sure what you call it, but basically political BS and lies, games.

It's definitely worth catching on the rerun tonight at 7pm eastern. O'Neill was much more forthcoming that during the press coverage following publication of the Suskind book.
