I'm taking MamaSal to see Dr. Dean today.

My folks, liberal but not nearly as politically active as I am, have started to change lately. They've been asking more questions about what I think about *, the candidates, etc. My Dad is starting to show his frustration and the other day said "I can't believe the amount of misinformation coming from this administration! That's all there is.. no truth, just lies!" (we were talking about the "The Iraqi's fooled us into thinking there were WMD's" story).

So, I got an email yesterday that said Dean is opening his Phoenix campaign office today.

Dean will be speaking at a rally for the grand opening of his Phoenix
office. This event is open to the public, and you are all invited to
come.

Mom and I are going to Girl Scout shopping today and I asked her if she wanted to go see the Doc, too. She said yes! I'm so excited. This is really the first time that my folks are showing interest in my passion for politics. I'm just floating on air.

I'm leaving soon to pick up MamaSal and then we're off to the rally. I'll update you all later on the details.
