Somebody was posting some misinformation about UNICEF on a message board, linking to this new source-

http://www.lifesite.net/ldn/2004/mar/04031101.html I was told to google it as well, but only came upon other right wing news sources, and news sources quoting right wing news sources.

I set her straight

But I am becoming worried about this web of lies that is being created.

That exact SAME "Lifesite" article was posted on everything from Riot girl sites to Buddhism sites, to Islamic sites to official-looking Nigerian news sights. Imagine how many people could die as a result of these lies!!!

I can't remember the program I saw or heard, it was a few months ago, but it was interviews with women, and this particular plea broke my heart.

The right to control their bodies, to an education, to choose when and whom to marry, to be able to refuse sex, to be protected from violence, an end to war....that's what women want.

I hate these christofascists.

i wish i could actually use a computer...
but if someone or a group of someones could/would start a web page and would ''blast the media'' with every documented and archived crime and act of disinformation commited by the christofacsists -- then we might be able to start changing the publics perception.
yes the effort would be herculean -- but well worth it.
