She and a male guest debated the Iraq situation. Very interesting discussion on the topic.

She stated that the situaton is a failure and was doomed from the start. Why wait until later and have more blood shed. Leave now. We have already done damage to the country by making it a haven for terrorists...and we won't be able to change that. Viet Nam dragged on....why let this mess drag on any longer? We should be discussing this possibility now, she believes.

The man took the position we can't leave until it's stable, and, we can handle ALL situations. He thinks the situation is bad, but there are also good things happening in other parts of the country.

1. There is no good answer.

We can't stabilize Iraq without a huge influx of troops, hundreds of thousands more, which we don't have and can't get.

But it would be really shitty thing to do to leave the Iraq in the condition it's in now, thanks to the invasion.

So there's no way out.

Never forget who got us into this situation: Bush and the Republicans.

Fire them. Fire them all.
