baby jesus to sleep with a gun under his manger. remember, jesus doesn't like democrats. if you put a kerry bumpersticker on your burro, terrorists might attack your nativity scene.

We all had to read ad absurdum about who Jesus would vote for, I would vote for leaving politics out of mangers. ;)

BTW, believe it or not, the manger in our church to which we add on every year, got an elephant last year and a campfire this year. The donkey was in there from the beginning obviously. But then, those animals don't have any political meaning in Germany. We color our parties. :)

6. Got a big cardboard box?

After you affix the Kerry tag to the donkey's ear, paint the box to resemble an Inn and set it just off to the side of the manger scene...and then affix an elephant to the Inn, blocking the door.

Just got home and noticed by mom set out our nativity scene...maybe I'll replace the ceramic donkey with my plush "Lefty the Donkey"
