silent. Scott Peterson gets the death sentence and it is wall-to-wall coverage. Since I haven't watched cable news in months, my info comes from family members but I assume they are correct remembering how they covered the OJ trial and Jon Bonet.

The timing of the release of the Peterson sentence was synchronized with the coverage of Ohio recount hearings.

Just as the indictment of Jacko obfuscated the coverage of the 250,000 who were protesting * and burning him in effigy as his choppers trashed the Queens gardens.

They've wasted at least a few hours a day to this case and though I don't discount the trauma of it for those involved, how many other pregnant women have been murdered and got nary a mention.

You're smart to not watch the news. It's 60% propaganda, 20% sensationalism, 15% fluff, and the rest may hold a smidgen of truth.

Damned though, you got to hand it to Rove for his timing, it's a tribute to his complete control of the media.

It's disgusting what they won't cover, but choose to cover instead.

There are many crazy murderers in this country. Their acts do not involve or influence the country as a whole. But a politician's actions do. Far more considerably. I am outraged at how skewed our "bizarrica" media is. (bizarre American)
