TUPELO, Miss. (AP) -- A 47-year-old Tupelo man was being held on a $500,000 bond Thursday after his arrest on possession of child pornography.

Tupelo police Detective Tim Tate said Kerry Dwayne Stevens was arrested Wednesday after a raid on Stevens' home in Tupelo by police and FBI agents.

Because the investigation is ongoing, Tate declined to comment on what initiated the search warrant or what materials were seized from Stevens' home. Tate did confirm that authorities found pornographic digital pictures of children.

Stevens, an employee of the Tupelo-based American Family Association, faces up to 20 years in prison if convicted. ...
