why is it that she can't seem to keep people from getting frustrated with her. If she got banned from DU I suspect that there are two sides to that story. Since I don't know either one I'm not passing judgment on her, I'm just saying that she is irritating. I didn't cotton to her calling us a "bunch of people writing under assumed names" in a very derogetory tones. Just like what she does serves a purpose, so do we. I think at the core of it she wants to be the hero when she really can't. In the end it seems to be about her not the cause.

It also is a warning about what "fame & fortune" do to people. I'd rather being posting on DU under a "fake name" than trying to climb on the national stage using a "fake identity."

we are in the midst of having to worry about a lot of things, bu its good that we're worrying about them. If we were not worrying it would mean that we would be unaware, as Americans have been since the cold war and probably well before that.

The web has given us a platform to assemble our thoughts in a (semi) coherent manner. But the critical thing is that we are a collaboration. The same thing annoys me about Randi Rhodes, she talks as though she is the only person who's ever devoted time to this issue. No Randi, you're not alone. And when people like this behave in this way they cause fractuers in the collaboration. It confuses many people and the truth usually remains buried.

This type of behavior is what gives the other side the ammunition to undermine our objectives.
