Phone your Congressman/Senator: Demand local meetings!

I was just reading about the potential long term changes to Social Security. The writer suggests that we call our representatives to express our displeasure.

I suggest that we get those representatives back home. They should have to meet the people that they represent, face to face. They should express their position on Social Security and allow the public to comment. I don't care if it takes weeks of meetings, this decision should be out in the open, so we can take appropriate action in the election booth.

Force these people to face the voters! or else!
