ATTORNEY GENERAL JOHN ASHCROFT TO TRAVEL
TO FLORIDA, GEORGIA, VIRGINIA, AND NORTH CAROLINA

WASHINGTON, D.C.- Attorney General John Ashcroft will travel to: Tampa,
Florida; Atlanta, Georgia; Norfolk, Virginia; and the Raleigh/Durham area
of North Carolina to speak to law enforcement officials. The Attorney
General will focus on the progress America has made in the war on terrorism
through state and local law enforcement cooperation and implementation of
the USA PATRIOT Act.
PRESS REGISTRATION FOR ALL EVENTS:
DUE TO EXTRA SECURITY MEASURES, PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY. ALL media MUST PRESENT
GOVERNMENT-ISSUED PHOTO ID (such as driver?s license) as well as valid
media credentials.
Registration for media will take place approximately one HOUR AND FIFTEEN
MINUTES prior to THE start of EACH event.
